O Rex Gentium (King of the Nations)

pp king

LATIN: O Rex gentium, et desideratus earum, lapisque angularis, qui facis utraque unum: veni, et salva hominem, quem de limo formasti.

ENGLISH: O King of the gentiles and their desired One, the cornerstone that makes both one: come, and deliver man, whom you formed out of the dust of the earth.

Oh Jesus, my King, prepare my heart for your coming. Help me to see the small ways in which you are calling me to serve you and grow closer to you through my home and family. As I prepare my house for Christmas, help me to prepare a royal place in my heart for you, my Lord and my Savior. Amen.
