O Emmanuel (God With Us)

pp emmanuel

LATIN: O Emmanuel, Rex et legifer noster, exspectatio gentium, et Salvator earum: veni ad salvandum nos Domine Deus noster.

ENGLISH: O Emmanuel, God with us, our King and lawgiver, the expected of the nations and their Savior: come to save us, O Lord our God.

Dear Jesus, when I am feeling alone and overwhelmed by activity and responsibility, remind me that you are with me in all things. Help me to know how much you love me, how close you long to be to me, and how very much you desire my love and attention. Help me to see you as a tiny baby, with your arms outstretched toward with love and joy. Amen.
